Job Summary:

Responsibilities of a Technical Sales Representative cover sales, promotions, product development and market positioning of the product offerings under the department’s portfolio. TSR contributes to the development, establishment and maintenance of supplier/principal/customer relationships that will be added to the Group’s or Unit’s product line up. TSRs must maintain detailed records of their sales, develop prospect lists, file expense reports, schedule visits to clients, and prepare sales presentations. In addition, must provide after sales services to customer. These includes, but not limited to, water quality analysis, equipment inspection and repair, chemical dosing, bench testing and turnaround inspection.

Responsibilities:

  • Visits and strengthens relations with clients for the development/acceptance, use and sales growth of products being handled.
  • Develops and suggests ideas for new products.
  • Develops and recommends marketing and sales objectives, detailing sales volumes and profit forecasts for each product range under their respective unit.
  • Gives feedback on market trends, competitor moves and industry landscape of the product unit.
  • Develops and recommends sales strategies and programs to improve sales for the Group or Unit.
  • Establishes contacts and business relations with prospective clients and suppliers/principals.
  • Assists in the preparation of the division’s operating budget and monitors expenses .Attends to customer complaints and clients’ logistical issues and suggestion relative to covered products and unit sales operations
  • Technical Sales representative positions are field-based, requiring frequent travel throughout designated coverage to market products. They will be also required to visit key locations to provide training to customers’ technical staff.
  • Prepare shutdown/start-up/passivation reports.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly water analysis reports, monthly/quarterly/yearly trending.

Qualifications:

      • Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or any related field
      • Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience is preferred.
      • Licensed Engineer has an advantage but not required
      • Willing to travel and work on site
      • Amenable to start ASAP
