Trans World Trading Co., Inc. Joins International Coastal Cleanup 2025
Doing Our Part for a Cleaner and Greener Future
Calaca, Batangas — September 20, 2025.
Trans World Trading Co., Inc. (TWTCI) proudly took part in the International Coastal Cleanup 2025, joining thousands of volunteers worldwide in protecting and preserving our marine environment. The event was held in partnership with the Samahan sa Pilipinas ng mga Industriyang Kimikal (SPIK) at Calaca, Batangas, where TWTCI took part as one of the event’s Gold Sponsors.
Representing TWTCI were 30 employee volunteers led by Mr. Eugene Eligio T. Velasquez, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Mr. Emerson Sto. Domingo, Assistant Vice President – Head of Industrial and Rubber Chemicals Division. The team actively participated in the cleanup, collecting and segregating plastic waste, bottles, and other marine debris along the shoreline.
This meaningful activity reinforces TWTCI’s strong commitment to sustainability, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and environmental protection. By joining this global movement, TWTCI reaffirms its dedication to being a responsible and sustainable business, continuously seeking ways to minimize its environmental footprint and support community-driven initiatives.
