The Industrial Chemicals Department of Trans World Trading Company, Inc. (TWT), in collaboration with Era Polymers Pty Ltd., Australia, successfully conducted the Era Polymers Product Review Training at B Hotel, Alabang, Muntinlupa. The one-day event ran from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and was designed to provide industry professionals with comprehensive technical knowledge and updates on polyurethane (PU) applications and processing.
The training was attended by 36 participants representing 23 companies from Luzon and Cebu, comprising both long-standing TWT customers and new companies exploring opportunities in the hot castable polyurethane business. The session served as a valuable platform for strengthening existing partnerships and cultivating new business relationships within the rubber and polyurethane industries.
Distinguished Participants and Program Flow
The program commenced with welcome remarks from Mr. Emerson Sto. Domingo and was ably hosted by Ms. Christine Quijano, with logistical support from Ms. Melissa Del Rosario, Ms. Jho Giron, and Mr. JM Biag. The event was also honored by the presence of Ms. Melody Hwang, President of Trans World Trading Company, Inc., and Mr. Eugene Eligio T. Velasquez, Chief Financial Officer.
The technical sessions were led by Mr. Daniel Turkovic, Global Technical Service Manager of Era Polymers, who provided an in-depth introduction to Era Polymers and delivered a series of lectures covering polyurethane processing fundamentals, troubleshooting, and the latest industry developments.
