When you mix island vibes with the power of teamwork, you get an unforgettable experience. Trans World Trading Co. Inc. – Agchem Department recently proved this at their Midyear Sales Meeting and Team Building event in the tropical paradise of Boracay Island, Malay, Aklan. The event, held from June 25 to 27, 2025, was a perfect blend of productivity and relaxation, all centered around the theme: Island Vibes, Teamwork Drives.
Sales, Strategy, and Sunshine: A Bright Start at La Carmela de Boracay
The journey kicked off at La Carmela de Boracay Hotel, where the team gathered for the all-important Midyear Sales Meeting. The meeting covered key updates on the general market, the latest developments in plantations, and progress on the team’s goals for 2025.
Sales representatives and support teams from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao came together, sharing insights and aligning their strategies for the second half of the year. The atmosphere was focused yet warm, fitting for a team that values both performance and camaraderie.
Team Building with a Splash
The real magic, however, happened once the laptops were closed and the sunscreen was applied. This year’s team-building activities, such as island hopping and water sports, were designed to foster collaboration, communication, and mutual support. The banana boat ride, in particular, tested their balance and coordination as they worked together to stay afloat and enjoy the ride.
The day’s highlight was the “Egg-chem Panalo!” challenge, where each team member had to protect an egg from breaking throughout the day. This fun yet meaningful exercise emphasized responsibility, problem-solving, and collective care – key pillars of effective teamwork.
Drive the Team Forward
The three days were filled with laughter, learning, and a lot of bonding. But more importantly, the event made one thing crystal clear: the Agchem Department is not only dedicated to achieving sales goals, but also to supporting and lifting each other to success. The Island Vibes of Boracay played a key role in strengthening that bond, but it’s the Teamwork Drives philosophy that’s sure to carry them forward into the rest of the year.
As the team returns to their respective areas, they do so with a renewed sense of purpose and unity, ready to take on the second half of 2025 – and beyond.
