PAINT & SIP: Cake Canvas and Coffee

On August 22, 2025, Café Seventy Six hosted a truly unique experience: the Palette Knife Painting and Painting on Fondant Workshop with Chef Cha Caldito Caparas.

Organized by IPD Food Group of Trans World Trading Co., Inc., this event marked the first in a series of creative workshops that bring together artistry, craftsmanship, and culinary excellence. With more sessions scheduled in the near future, this was just the beginning of an exciting journey for cake and coffee lovers alike.

Participants worked with a rich chocolate cake made with Barry Callebaut Maleo 22/24, layered with a silky ganache prepared from Master Martini Shine Dark Buttons and GLF Bianco Brio Plus ND.

Turning Flavors into Art

Using GLF Bianco Brio Plus ND UHT Cream and vibrant Cross Oil-Based Colors, each cake was transformed into a one of a kind edible masterpiece, proof that creativity knows no boundaries when it comes to cake design.

Savoring the Moment

Of course, no “sip” is complete without coffee. Participants enjoyed their artistic creations over freshly brewed cups and snacks making the workshop a perfect blend of flavor, inspiration, and connection.
